2008 Award Winning Artists
The following artists were selected as award recipients at the 2008
Lakefront Festival of Arts.
Each artist received a cash prize of $1,000, a commemorative art piece and
was invited to return to the festival for the next three years without being
juried.

Contemporary Art at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Tom Riesing, painter and Professor in the School of Art at the University of
Tennessee.
Paul Smith, Director Emeritus of the Museum of Arts & Design in New York
City and he is an Independent Curator/Consultant.
